A couple of evening moves with decent
traction, 37698 on the Doncaster to Peterborough engineer's trip and 56049 on
6V31.

18th April 2003 - Smoke Gets
in Your Eyes
A day off work and a trip to the Manchester
area to get some 101's in. It was a clear blue day, but a scrub fire in the Peak
District gradually put a smoke screen over the area, and as the day wore on the
skies became washed out and the sun hazed over with the smoke. At this point, we
gave up and headed for home calling in at Slindon for a few shots on the
way.
20th April 2003 - Cornish
Tractors in the Midlands
Two former Cornish Tractors worked an
engineer's train to Luton and were captured at Cossington as they returned to
Toton in the afternoon.
26th April 2003 - Tractor
Lash Up
Thanks to the failure of 37607 and 37612, the
Grangemouth to Daventry Malcolm train ran late and had four 37's on the front.
28th April 2003 - Stanier
Mogul
An EMRPS photo charter with Stanier Mogul
42968 at the Severn Valley Railway. All in all a pretty sunless day, but we did
hit lucky with the light with the final shot of the day on Eardington Bank in
the evening.
