Holiday to Somerset
A week long holiday to Burnham on Sea. A
surprising amount was captured on film, the definite highlight of which was
nailing 47635 on a mail train.

Junction, Ryecroft Junction and Other Bits
Went out for the Nuneaton Drags and got more
than I had bargained for....

23rd August 2003 - Welsh
Marches
A trip down to South Wales for some Rugby
specials. Managed a couple in sun down the Marches, and then off to the Rhymney
Valley, but only one train was caught in sun here.
29th August 2003 - Diverted
Mails
For the period of one week due to engineering
works on the WCML, several mail trains were diverted via the Midland Main Line.
I didn't have much luck getting these trains in the sun until the last day that
they ran when I managed a few at Kibworth.
30th August 2003 - More
Welsh Marches
Another trip down to South Wales for rugby
specials. This time I didn't get a single shot down the Rhymney Valley, but I
did fair much better on the Marches. Heavyweight tractor 37886 was captured on a
rare passenger outing after 37405 failed.
