1st June 2009 -
25322 and 37075 Photo Charter
A very enjoyable photo charter at the Churnet
Valley Railway featuring 37075 and 25322 'Tamworth Castle'. It is over a year
now since 25322 was painted into 1980's 'Ice Cream Van' livery, and this was the
EMRPS's second attempt at a photo charter with it, the first one being ruined by
the weather. No such problem this time as the sun didn't go in all day, and with
the added attraction of the 'thigh slapping' 37075 it was a top day (if a little
bit on the hot side). Big thanks to all the photographers for supporting the
event, and to the train crew who worked hard in the heat to ensure we all got
the photographs that we wanted.
21st June 2009 - London
Underground
The 1938 stock 'Heritage' train was out on
the Northern Line, so it was off down to London for a few shots. As well as the
38 stock, I also took quite a few shots of other underground trains including
some shots of the open island platforms at Clapham North and Clapham Common.

Transport
Several images taken during the Lancastrian
Transport Trust's 'Totally Transport 2009' event held in Blackpool on Sunday
28th June. Several vintage trams were out including the rare appearance of
Sheffield 513.

Western Train's Secret Mission
A fantastic night of photography with the
Western Train illuminated tram on an overnight photographic trip to Fleetwood
and back. The shoot was organised by TRAMS Magazine and was to provide photographic and video material for
the Blackpool Tram DVD and the
forthcoming DVD
Blackpool's Western
Train Restored.
