Looking superb in a freshly applied coat of BR blue, 40145 passes Frinkley Lane near Marston with the 1Z41 1703 London Kings Cross to
Crewe 'The Capital Whistler' railtour. It was nice to see an ex-works BR blue 40, as I never saw such a thing on BR, the ones I saw all looked
faded, dirty and rusty.
