NEW 6 & 7 August 2026 - North Wales Air to Air Sorties

A fantastic couple of days in Wales based in Caernarfon. The main subject being photographed was RAF Eurofighter Typhoon ZK317 on an air to air sortie organised by The Centre of Aviation Photography (COAP). I also had the bonus of a last minute additional flight to photograph a P-47 Thunderbolt and Team Raven were another unexpected bonus at the start of the Typhoon flight. In my own opinion, probably the best aviation photographs I have taken to date.

23 August 2026 - Loughborough

Over to Loogerbarooger for 57302 on an ECS, but with the added bonuses of 27056 and a DB 66.

15-22 August 2026 - Holiday in Wales

A very enjoyable family holiday in Wales staying in the Aberystwyth area. When the Vale of Rheidol Railway painted one of their locos in BR blue livery I as always going to make an effort to get some pictures of it, and this holiday was a good starting point. We did other stuff besides the VoR of course, but the bulk of my photos from the week are either railway orientated or are of our dog enjoying himself.

1 & 2 August 2026 - Return of the Racehorse

The Deltic Preservation Society's class 55 'Deltic' D9015 'Tulyar' back in action having not worked a passenger service since 1997. What followed was a complete rebuild and she now looks resplendent in original style two-tone green livery.

26 July 2026 - London Underground Heritage Train Trips

A frustrating day trying to capture images of London Underground's 1938 Tube Stock and Metro-Vick loco number 12 'Sarah Siddons'. Work commitments kept me away during the two ays previous to my visit, and they were the better days weather wise. I did eventually manage to come away with two shots of each train that I am happy with, and the day had seen me catch up with a few people I had not seen for a while, so the trip ended up being very worthwhile.

24 July 2026 - Brinklow

An afternoon session at Brinklow on the WCML. My main targets were 70801 and 99001, but I was able to capture a few other bits while I was there.
