60092 and 60089 are seen either end of a rake of MGR hoppers about to be loaded at the then new Asfordby Mine. The mine closed in
1997 and part of the site became the Asfordby Test Centre serving the nearby Old Dalby Test Track. The rear of the train is in what is
now the car park, while the front of the train is on the old loading pad, part of which can still be seen, albeit now disconnected from any
other tracks. This view can still be witnessed today from a footbridge, but it is a very different scene with more tracks, 25kV ac
overhead electrification, sidings and a large maintenance shed (that used to be a coal shed, built after this photo was taken).
