47854 passes Bishopton with a 1Z23 1711 Stratford upon Avon to Holyhead railtour. This is quite a significant picture in my photographic
journey as this was the first time I had pointed a digital camera at a moving subject on the main line without having a film camera
mounted on a frame duplicating the shot on film. Like a lot of photographers at the time, I found the shift from film to digital uneasy
and going digital only was perceived to be a big step. Having made the decision to go digital only, I have never looked back and never
fired a single shot on film since. The location of this photo has changed beyond all recognition too, as this is now the site of the
Stratford-upon-Avon Parkway station.
