With the District line closed west of South Kensington due to engineering work at Earl's Court, the Piccadilly Line provided a service
to intermediate stations between Hammersmith and Acton Town by running all Uxbridge branch trains along the local lines so that they
could call all stations. 202-602-402 leads a train which has just called at Chiswick Park along the eastbound local, while L44 brings up the
rear of engineering train 640, which is making its way back to Ruislip Depot from Earl's Court and has been slowed by signals on the
westbound local as it catches up with a stopping Piccadilly Line train which was just in front of it.
